ABOUT THE CONVENTION CENTRE

Opened in June 2004, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is conveniently located in the heart of the Gold Coast. It is only 20 km from the Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta). You can walk to the beach, the casino and many of the hotels listed in the accommodation. There is a monorail link to the 5 star Sofitel Hotel. Meeting Rooms can cater for up to 6,000 people. It offers wireless internet capability. It won the Caterer of the Year Award 2005 & 2007 by the Restaurant and Caterers of Australia.
